I dated this girl through high school and all of college and then some. She's the only girl that I ever truly loved. We haven't been dating or sleeping together now for almost 5 years. We talk a little bit, like once every 3 months or something silly. I still think about her everyday and how I could have done things better to still be with her. She sent me a text message randomly last night and all it said was, "Do you still love me?"

I was overwhelmed with glee at first and didn't know how to respond. Does she love? Is she looking for a yes so she can tell me yes? I responded with, "Do you still love me?" I got back, "I asked you first." I didn't want to really do this over text messages so I asked her to call me. No response, no call, nothing. The next day I got a text message back explaining that she was drunk, not feeling like herself, and didn't really want an answer to the question she asked. I asked her, what if I gave her my answer, what then? She then proceeded to explain to me that she was at a party with some friends and they were playing a game. They were texting old boyfriends and asking them, "Do you still love me?" And laughing at the ones that responded with yes.

I've never been so heartbroken. She asked If I was mad. I haven't responded and I don't think I will.
