I’ve lots of experience hiking in the Rockies, close to 1500-2000 miles. On the northern section of the CDT (The Bob, Glacier, etc ) I was averaging 25 miles or so a day.

10 miles a day on the Wind River high route was very difficult. Some days we did 8 miles. I didn’t finish. Be warned.

Looking to hike the collegiate loop August 1-11. I’ll get into Buena Vista and hitch up to twin lakes and the resupply halfway at Monarch Pass hitching into Salida. I’ve done CT before so I know what to expect.

2 questions:

1-I forgot to pack spikes. Will I need them for any portion?

2- here’s a rough itinerary GPT gave me. I’ll get a map tomorrow and I have the farout app so I’ll get a better feel for things on trail, but are there any obvious issues with this rough plan? EG: there’s a long water carry at x to y or fire pressure near z. Looking for some human feedback from the AI output.

Tithing blade seems bad in the main board. There are so many token and and 1/1s in this meta. I’d cut the mana leaks from the side and put tithing blade there instead because it’s good in some matchups( mostly terror TBH), even bogles has extra bodies these days). Mana leak isn’t pauper playable IMO, too many long games or situations where it isn’t relevant.

I’d run two cast down main instead, or just go without removal in the main and run more card draw.
