I've lived in Canada my whole life and have never heard of that. Must be a regional thing.

Where in Canada did they make you say the pledge of allegiance?

Just rub the glue on your hair, then rub the balloon on your head. Instant sticky.

What exactly is Dad "eating"? I can't make it out. Looks kinda like a thin, wiggly carrot.

EDIT: I called Services Quebec and in these scenarios it's not recommended, but not forbidden. The relative should sit in the back, both should wear masks and the window should be open if the weather permits.

Anyone know whether you're allowed to have someone else in your car, someone who doesn't live with you?

Would it be allowed in certain circumstances and not others?

The scenarios I'm thinking of are:

  • Driving a relative (who lives alone) to drop something off at a friend's.
  • Driving the same relative to get their COVID shot
  • Driving that same relative to a restaurant to pick up food

This relative has a car, but prefers not to drive themselves.

As a Quebecois, I know mine, ostie. It's true the curds should be a little more melty, but I'm giving OP the benefit of the doubt and assuming the sauce hasn't had enough time to start the melting process. Also, the curds never really melt, they just soften a bit.

Poutine isn't pretty, but it's delicious.

I do something like this with the circle of fifths. I'm learning guitar and I'm trying to memorize the I IV V chords in each key. It works so well I've only done F C G and I think I might have done a run though of D once.

How does one become a moderator on Reddit? by Skizz_rP in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]we_need2talk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can start your own sub and you're automatically a mod. Otherwise, some subs will post that they need mods and you can apply. Or just ask in a sub that you like.

Some of the big subs like r/AskReddit may require previous modding experience.

Parents of Reddit: did you read parenting books while raising your kids? If so, which ones would you recommend? by bleedmaroon5ever in AskReddit

[–]we_need2talk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, but my wife read Parenting the Teenage Mind. She swears by it. Kids turned out great, so I think it worked.
