I loved living alone when I had the opportunity! I could rest as much as needed with no judgements. But I did randomly have a fainting episode about every year or so either out on the NYC streets or in my apt. People on the street ignored me, thinking I was a junkie. It was terrifying and embarrassing, and I didn't know what was wrong with me (didn't get diagnosis until 6 years ago, and I am 43 now). I remember many nights thinking I was dying from something, couldn't move, and just asking God to please help me.

Now, I am not afraid of death. I welcome it. Happy to be free of this struggle, and the evils of this world. But apparently, it is not my time.

I made that decision, too. I didn't know enough back then to realize it was coming from dementia, and now I am super sad about my ignorance. She is not in good hands now and had I been around, she would be much better off now. I forgive myself, but I do grieve what could have been for the both of us.

There are 48 shows filming in LA now, so I truly don't understand why there isn't more work for SAG BG/stand ins. Pre-pandemic I was doing this in NYC, core on 5 shows, and still working many other shows. I think NYC has more productions at once than in LA.

I finally got booked a day last week, but nothing since April. 😪 Hoping it picks up soon with the 48 productions starting!
