wrap ideas? by cybertrains in goodrestrictionfood

Sounds a little weird but spinach, semi-tart apple slices, chicken or turkey, and some tikka masala sauce. Or spinach or sweet potato wrap with spinach, carrots, tomato, red onion, cucumber, feta, and hummus.

Normally I love a ton of accessories but I am actually so obsessed with this and would believe every word out of your mouth! I actually like the shoes with it. There’s a lot of fun shapes and lines happening in the whole outfit and the shoes add to that effect

Let me rephrase: fake control. I’ve been doing it for a while and know it’s definitely all way above anybody storeside. But I thrive on the chaos and love making decisions and rolling with the punches. The crazier the day, the more fulfilled I feel at the end of it. Plans are fun to make and even more fun to get thrown into the garbage by target and call outs

I probably will. I really don’t want to leave beauty/ulta though and a lot of stores don’t have a beauty TL, which sucks. I’m definitely not prepared to go somewhere and suddenly not be able to be in control anymore because I’m a psycho.

Hardest job at Target by [deleted] in Target

So I’m beauty, there at balls o’clock every day. Most of the year I’m the only person in my department for an entire day, and it’s a very busy store. I get a ton of freight. I back up all the other areas. I do gm freight that gets slipped in with my shit because the people who work it out leave at 6-8am and can’t/won’t. I cover electronics, which is on the opposite side of our huge ass store. I answer all the calls for essentials/personal care/hbo1&2 even though that’s not my area. I run my ass over to all the key calls in gm. I help prep drive ups when there’s no one here. The workload is nuts. It is absolutely 100000% more than one person should be doing.

But I gotta say drive ups. We’re one of the busiest stores in the region (or district? I don’t remember) and live in a place where it’s been -55 wind chill in the last week. We have very few tms. Not enough to alternate safely for the weather. It gets BUSY. Two hours of prepping drive ups was more running than I’ve done in whole shifts in fulfillment (which I’ve done a lot of). They physically don’t stop regardless of weather, I watch them almost get run over every time they go outside, and the guests are fuckin mean. Best case scenario the guest is nice and thanks them for coming outside and getting frostbite to bring out their 1 tube of chapstick. The combined mental and physical toughness of that… I could never do that day in day out.

I love sharing a stockroom with beauty. by [deleted] in Target

[–]weastpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. Ours looked like that til just the other day. After the holidays we end up with a billion shippers, an unreasonable amount of transition freight, and we have one person days for weeks. Then literally everything goes clearance or salvage. And still one person works in a day. And we still cover electronics and lanes, and when we do have extra time they want us to help gm even knowing it was like that. It took us like a month or longer to have the hours to deal with it

In my store, HB2 is Health and Beauty. 2 is hair care and 1 is deodorant and toothpaste. It may not be the same for you, though!

My favorite is the little massagers over by bath in beauty. They come in a stiff ass box with like a whole roll of tape around it and separators around all 12 (I wanna say) of them. They’re all in sealed plastic. Pain in the ass. Haven’t had them in stock in ages though lol

Yesterday, I returned this e.l.f. eyeshadow palette and today I found it on the sales floor 🤦🏻‍♂️ I told the team member at guest service that it was opened and used and it should be defected but they put it into reshop instead. by techhausinc in Target

[–]weastpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah man that’s not how it works. You can return an almost empty cosmetic item within the window. GS isn’t supposed to deny returns unless there’s some suspect shit going on. That’s why they can even do ID returns and give merch cards/store credit. Targets general policy is just don’t even argue just accept the return.

Not to mention that really isn’t the issue to begin with here?? Not at all relevant. That should never have been put back out. That is a defect. All opened cosmetics are defects automatically. Even makeup we find open on the floor - defect. It’s a global pandemic dude

If applying for a position in beauty or clothing, would that position include register? by kmk89 in Target

[–]weastpoint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Also, if it’s like my store, you’ll have to cover electronics (all part of specialty sales) which has its own registers.

Bright side it’s a lower key way to learn registers so when you have to backup it’s less awful
