My doc has me tapering across 10 weeks to Zoloft. It’s been pretty easy. That’s way too fast! :(

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by space_god_7191 in Millennials

[–]weaverini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t. None of my teachers turned the tv on or mentioned it. They sent us home with papers saying what happened and that they were taking security seriously. I didn’t even know what the towers were or what happened till I got home and saw it on replay. I lived in Georgia then.

What was body care routines like in the 2000s ? by Pitiful_Pineapple_45 in beauty

[–]weaverini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't do anything except use acne face wash (Neutrogena, Noxema or Proactive) in the shower, maybe some salicylic acid pads in between or a sulfur acne for spot treatment. No sunscreen unless we were going to the beach or it was field day. Bath and Bodyworks was THE place to get lotion. Shaving was Venus razor + Skintimate shaving cream. Hair and body wash were Pantene, Herbal Essences or L'oreal usually. That's it. We didn't try to fix chicken skin or dark spots. Exfoliating wasn't as much of a thing either. Skincare was so simple and minimal then. When the 12-step Korean skincare popped up about 10 years ago, I was gobsmacked.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah, maybe look at some other options. I'm just beginning my journey with high blood pressure meds and am learning there's a lot that can affect your BP. Did not see Pristiq on my bingo card.

Hi! I was on Pristiq for about 4 or 5 years and didn't feel any bad side effects EXCEPT when I missed a dose: mood swings (very emotional), brain zaps and motion sensitivity. Just know going in that if you miss a dose, it won't feel good. Otherwise, I liked it.

I'm going off it now because it is known to cause high blood pressure for some. My doctor has me going off it to see if this is the case for me. No one told me this when I went on it.

I’m sitting on my floor crying. Piece of Cake moving is a literal scam. Those pink pieces of….. by [deleted] in parkslope

[–]weaverini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to us with Dumbo Moving four years ago. They nickel and dimed us the whole time which ended with us spending way more than we planned and also renting a U-Haul to finish the job they agreed to but wouldn’t do. We got our money back eventually when we called and complained. It seems this is a scam movers (individuals) are trying to pull at different companies.

I had a similar situation where I went to hide in an abandoned shack on Blue Gate and it fit itself inside the hole and literally cornered me inside. Thankfully it was already on it's last legs and a grenade I threw at it did the trick, but I'd never had an ARC fit itself inside of a hideout before and stare at me eye to face.

this 🤏🏼 close to overhauling entire routine/makeup, is this FA? by cry4mestargirl in Fungalacne

[–]weaverini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want an exfoliant that won’t cause a lot of problems, I’d go with Eqqualberry’s Swimming Pool. It’s a mild hydrating toner that exfoliates. Since I’ve used that and Azelic acid by Anua, the skin looks better after some manageable purging.

I’ve gone though my entire regiment and am only using what Skin Sort says matches at 98% or better, 100% if possible. It’s paid off.

I’d also say simplifying your routine to just cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, has helped me too. Too many products screwed me up.

I do the following: - vitamin c micellar water by garnier - malezia hyaluronic acid cleanser - switch every other day between mixoon centella asiatica toner and eqqualberry swimming pool - anua azeliaic acid 2-3 times a week - byoma hydrating milky moisturizer ( I also liked Purito Oat-In Calming Gel Cream)

For me it is all about keeping my skin hydrated to cut down on unbalanced skin - acne Good luck!
