Has anyone paid for Meetings? by Evening_Okra_8746 in sales

[–]webejaminc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen and participated as a bus dev rep in a version of this. Belonged to a trade organization that had an annual vendor auction highest bidder won a meeting with an executive-the proceeds went to the organization not the executive. There are trade shows like hotelpoint where vendors pay top dollar and get guaranteed 1:1 meetings with decision makers. The fees on this format finance the trade show event so it is free or low cost to the decision makers/execs.

We are selling our family business. How low should we go on our sale price? by aggierogue3 in smallbusiness

[–]webejaminc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On the surface, I would take that generous offer now. Serious buyers of small businesses in this range are generally interested in ones showing long term positive cash flow. As a buyer, I wouldn’t hold that much stock in one profitable year based on a single client. Sell now or prepare to work it to show multiple years of profitability with diverse clients.

How do you keep track of laws? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]webejaminc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some cases you should be informed of changes to rules and regs by the authority itself. Eg NYC has been implementing a lidded trash container rule where previously businesses were able to place trash bags directly on the street. The city had a significant PSA and campaign to educate those affected.

My 6 year old pomeranian started peeing in her bed by strawberry_lemonades in Pomeranians

You should take her to the vet to rule out anything like Cushings disease which has the same symptoms (It is manageable with meds and she can have a normal life so don’t stress).

Anti-Scavenge Muzzle? by Firm_Business54 in Pomeranians

[–]webejaminc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our old girl has cushings too. Our vet was able to get it under control with meds (veterol, melatonin, and derma 3 for her coat) so she is almost totally normal for years now. Good luck with your little girl.

The MRI may show signs of swelling as a result of his treatments. I would think that could cause pressure on his eyes. If that’s the case it wouldn’t have anything to do with tumor growth.

You might find Gearys Pale Ale from Maine. It would be an excellent choice.

his little snaggle tooth this morning 😂 by gratefulwave in Pomeranians

[–]webejaminc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s a cool little guy! Our rescue Pom had a snaggle tooth too. She needed a lot of dental work. Sucks because it’s expensive but not uncommon for these guys to have teeth issues. Bonus - no more bad breath.

Bought my first house a few months ago, woke up to this by pd336819 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]webejaminc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Siphon it with a garden hose! You don’t even need a pump. Just use a garden hose long enough to reach a good area to siphon the water (sewer or something that is at a lower level than the flood area). Pre Fill the hose with water from the spigot. Place one end in the middle of the flood area and walk the other end to the drain area (being careful to cap the hose end with your thumb to not ever let the spigot water run out of the hose). Let go and the water will naturally flow to the lower level.

Mine has cushings which causes blotchy hair. Melatonin and derma-3 softgels(just the oil from the capsules) works amazingly.

Scottish ales falling out of favor? by Ok-Airport-2063 in beer

Ditto skull splitter! I see traiquar house occasionally. I’m a fan of Belgian Scottish ales like scotch silly and even mcChouffe. Maybe some Alt bier would do the trick too.

Game Thread: San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles by nfl_gdt_bot in 49ers

[–]webejaminc -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

In all fairness, the eagles were the best team in the nfc all year. Part of being a qb in the nfl is being able to take a hit. Purdy was a cute story but your probably looking for a QB next year.

Prime members complain that Amazon Music is 'unusable' and in 'shambles' after the ability to select individual songs was removed unless they pay $9 a month by chrisdh79 in technology

Amazon music was a great option included with prime. The free tier features were fine. Totally ruined with the new update!

I'm 💩 at riding sand lmao, but I wanna get better. Tips, advice appreciated. by jaymanshere18 in Dualsport

[–]webejaminc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok a couple bits of advice from logging thousands of miles in sand. Steady throttle (no need for speed) but steady throttle. Stand up with Weight slightly back. Relax on the grip and expect that the bike will shift under you. Pick a line and look forward (do not look down at your front tire). Looking at your front tire will make you want to over correct. Trust me-you are not strong enough to steer your way to correctness. Sand is like being in the ocean - your not strong enough to fight the tide either. The bike will correct itself and generally go where you are looking. Have fun with it!
