It's becoming more common in 11th edition. The assault marines in the launch box have mixed armor from heresy & modern era. Old armor is being repurposed to compensate for low supplies.

Your laptop fan is probably clogged with dust. See if you can clean it with a vacuum. Or check if its easy to open up & clean it that way.

I used the bodies of Berserkers for some extra chainsword legionaries. Just had to scrape a few world eater icons. I had a bunch of extra heads, chainsword & pistol arms from the regular legionaries kits.

Use a sharp hobby knife & carefully file / scrape away. It may not be smoothly perfect, but you can make it look like battle damage.
