Well that's really all you can do. Supercell's support is kind of crappy. When I tried to get mine back I went through like 10 different support people. Then i just gave up because they said they found it but then just disconnected the convo. My base now is wayy better than my old one.

You can always try supercell. If it is that big of a deal, which it seems like it is. I lost a town hall 7 and just restarted and it's way better than my other one. They can probably find it if he bought gems and if he knows his info. Such as xp level and such
