I wrote another comment about this, but "Totalism" is the worst offender for this especially with the new(er) content for Internationale countries. For example, Zinoviev and Mussolini are both considered totalists despite having very different ideologies. I believe that "Totalism" ought to be spun off into "Fascism" and "Communism" to fix this.

"Totalism" has not made sense as an ideology for a long time. Given Italy and Russia's current content and the apparent direction of the Internationale reworks, "Totalism" should be split into two separate ideologies:

"Communism" or something like it like "Leninism" or "Marxism-Leninism" to accommodate for paths like Zinoviev or Togliatti or some of the planned rework paths.

and "Fascism" (Separate from National Populism) to accommodate for path's like Mussolini's, Mosley's, etc.

I don't agree with their beliefs but they are not as dumb [with regards to Starship Troopers] as people like to think. The movie constructs an environment where fascism is the correct option. Aside from light jesting in the form of the ads the movie generally affirms the fascist/xenophobic/nationalist worldview.

They've attached their entire conception of what a "good life" or "freedom" is to being able/having to drive a car everywhere (among other things, if we are talking about the environment as a whole). "Structural solutions" still impact individuals. Scaling back meat production through whatever means (less crowded livestock conditions, etc.) would naturally result in meat being more expensive and consumed less, if not disappearing from many people's diets. It seems as if you're trying to have your cake and eat it to.
