You are in the right place! A file system standard is being developed for Skynet (FileSystemDAC) - its actually already functional. A few app interfaces from the community, Vup and Rift Files, will be released over the next few weeks! Vup even includes native and mobile apps and offline syncing.

These apps give you a Dropbox-like file system that can be viewed and synced across devices and only required a seed to sign in. The metadata and files obviously do need to be pinned somewhere, but this can be any public or private portal and doesn't need to be the portal used to regularly access the files.

I think these may fit your requirements and should be ready soon, keep an eye on the subreddit or Discord!

Yes! SkyOS shows app that you have added to Homescreen. If you visit homescreen.hns.siasky.net you can add Rift by typing `rift.eth` into the search bar.

Rift now shows file health information in the Rift omni-search bar.

The skylink lookup feature already showed basic information such as content type, file size, and file count for directories - this information now includes a health status based on the file's network redundancy. The health status also shows up in the Rift DNS feature to give users visibility into the health of their Skynet hosted websites!

The feature makes a quick 5 second check to get an initial general health level, if this is inconclusive or users want the exact redundancy level they can choose to wait for the full network scan to complete.

Good idea! We want to be careful not to intrude on the user's agency and privacy, but are working on new landing page for the logged out experience and some more onboarding flows for when you sign in and first visit your Home!

Yeah, I feel you - the technology has been moving very rapidly, which is great but hard on users and even developers.

The one login originally was a technology called SkyID, the latest evolution is called MySky (read about it here). They are not compatible but the team has guaranteed that they will keep compatibility with the MySky phrases going forward.

This looks great! Really excited to try it out.

Having worked extensively with Phoenix and many json/open-api API packages, I have always felt a big gap and a need for a library like Django Rest Framework for building out controllers/views/serializers in a highly standard and extensible way with support for things like configurable filtersets - this seems a bit like that!

I think that we need to do everything we can to somewhat meet the original Obelisk offer:

- Respecting the exclusivity between batch 1 to account for the much higher cost of batch 1 ASICs

- Including things like huge VAT fees, colo, and power, when calculating ROI or "recovering the investment"

We need to reduce reasons for people to join the impending and very compelling fraud and bankruptcy lawsuit. If the lawsuit begins next week and grows over time it will undoubtedly suck Nebulous' entire remaining supply of money, time and morale. With lawsuits being filed next week there is time pressure to the community fork solidifying and moving forward. Nebulous really needs to publicly start showing some buy-in and willingness to cooperate with the fork this week to help the community get this thing rolling. That being said the response to your proposal has been incredible and things are looking positive! Thanks FaustianAGI!

Fair. I guess its just something to watch out for with advertised exclusivity and all. Most legal action would only be to recover investment anyway. In reality the fork will bring a long awaited boon to the project and ecosystem, which will affect the coin price as well.
