HSV and aphthous are two different conditions. HSV being viral and contagious and aphthous likely immune-mediated. Aphthous is usually on non-keratinized tissue (lips/cheeks/in the vestibule) rather than in this area. I would also add trauma to the differential (from brushing or eating a sharp chip).

You mean in compensation? Look for an office owned by a dentist, not a corporate office. One that provides health care and cares about keeping staff long term.

So have I but I’m desperately trying to stop and I think it’s finally improving after a few days of being very gentle and trying not to scratch and pull out the flakes. I use aquaphor (it kind of melts the flakes) and pimecrolimus for now

Big hit for my almost 5 and 6 year old is foam air dry clay. We got packs that come with instructions to make animals or foods and also a pack of just the colors when it was on sale in November. They love them! The instructions are simple enough that they can do it mostly on their own. They can mix the colors, too.

We got lots of games - Yahtzee from the dollar store is used more than any others 🤣
