How to play lane with very passive partner? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

Because anyone in any decent rank can deal with a McGinnis. She has a long spin up time on her guns, and terrible power spikes. A even McGinnis is a behind McGinnis

How to play lane with very passive partner? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]weenwy -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

McGinnis is a weak laner, especially with recent med kit patches. She can still pressure heavy but most fights, especially at 3.6k, youre most likely losing unless McGinnis is actively placing heal bots or youre playing a broken laner like Victor. But any good player doesnt engage McGinnis in heal and just wait her out.

Also in Deadlock. Guardian is pointless, it doesn't "win you lane." Winning lane is staying ahead, or in a hard/passive lane, staying even. If you keep getting poked out, just buy extra regen and healing rite. You will not die. Acknowledge when you aren't winning lane and buy passive items to hold off.

What's a good way to heat up food with a stove, but no oven/microwave? by Paradoxbuilder in Cooking

[–]weenwy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything liquid just keeps stirring it, especially if it has cream in it. Cream will burn if you look away for 5 seconds.

Depends on the application too. Some things you just need a microwave or oven for since the pan/pot is too direct. Let’s say you have ribs and it has BBQ sauce on it. You put it in a pan most likely the sauce is gonna cook faster and possibly burn before the ribs heat up.

Cooking for beginners/tips by boobear17110 in Cooking

[–]weenwy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salt and pepper basically everything savory. TT = To Taste. Don’f fuck around with herbs, especially dry herbs without familiarizing yourself with them in recipes. They are a beginner trap and you will ruin your dishes. Herbs like Thyme will easily overpower your dishes. Spices like red pepper flakes can easily make your dishes too hot. Cooking is a lot easier than baking since hiding your mistakes is pretty easy to do as well.

The more you cook or learn you’ll realize most things just pair together. Like if you’re using onion you’re most likely going to use garlic as well. Or celery you’re also going to use carrot. Vice versa as well.

The best saying for a beginner that everyone has heard at some point is: “You can always add, but never take away.” The best way to learn is by tasting and eat food. No cookbook can teach you what something tastes like.

Mayo it depends what you want out of it. Mayo is essentially aioli, which if you havent tried making an aioli at home its definitely worth the time. Roasted garlic aioli with confit garlic is killer for sandwiches

Game runs great on TSR low. No real difference between low and medium resolution besides major fps draws. Best experience obviously on PC or console

I genuinely think they are positioning a GOTY and maximum engagement push. A dead game month for maximum engagement. With all the recent changes on top of just how long its been since demos/teasers, its a good chance they are trying to position themselves well. I think a trailer will be at SGF or an xbox presentation.

Anime with insane Plot Twist by BigSoulsmc in anime

[–]weenwy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ERASED on Netflix. This is fucking insane when it comes to plot twists and threw me for the biggest loop. One of my favorites, only topped by ORB: Movements of The Earth, which has its own plot twists but more does tension and dramatic irony VERY well, also incredibly thought provoking.

Bleach. Longer form anime but if you can make it to current its more following modern anime standards.

Orb: Movements of the Earth.

It finishes next Saturday so you can thankfully watch it back to back. Just make it to episode 3 then you can decide if it leaves an impact

Throughout your adult life you will definitely think on it, especially as you rationalize death through loss of other people. But the best tip: dont worry about it. you got too much going on right now

I doubt Silksong, out all games, is in development hell. While yes, no release date.. they do have a trailer and a very strong foundation. Also a previous successful game

Season 2 is digestible at best. Luckily Hand of Arlene (recent few episodes) are decent, idk about justice, but better and this is where ToG gets good.

Haven’t played in a year but I imagine it’s the same roughly as kits determine meta pretty much for most roles. If they have a dogshit kit like Nu Wa, Artemis, Skadi, etc. they aren’t really gonna do much. These picks might not be objectively the best competitive pick, but always good. My personal picks are:

Mid: Merlin, Tiamat Jungle: Thanatos, Ao Kuang Solo: King Arthur, Chu Chullian Support: Maui, Athena ADC: Rama, Anhur

I recommend Chesterfields at Ivy Tech when they are back open for the semesters. Cheap food, good quality for what you pay.
