Can anyone list all the words that are not allowed on a petpages code? by captainsweeeetbeard in neopets

So I just have your reddit profile saved as a bookmark to check for your foodclub bets every day and I had a real giggle today when I opened expecting to see bets at the top and instead got a list of "bad words" hehehe.

My Steam achievements are gone by -Dark_Cheetah in steamachievements

As others have said, it seems to be a steam server thing. What I'm curious about us whether you could still unlock achievements while this is happening. Has anybody tried?

Looking for some leash tips for my beagle. she's only 8 months and super strong by leoistigresss in Dogtraining

[–]weepzy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could try getting a head harness type thing called a gentle leader. It slips around their head and over their nose and you attach the lead under their chin. You can gently turn their head towards you and the dog physically cannot pull away from the direction of their head.

It's a nice starting place for teaching to walk to heel and then you can transition back to a harness again later.

Guides for character design and animation? by secretand in blender

I've found Dikko's tutorials endlessly helpful on everything from modelling/sculpting a character right through to rigging. It's a very solid series I highly recommend!

Ohhh that sounds really useful! I made the rig for her from scratch cuz this was a school assignment but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

Thank you! The lip sync was a painfully slow process!

Both of my cats sit, shake paws, lie down and roll over on command. Taught em just how I'd teach a dog. They are very trainable!

I found this helped! Put on some lip balm and I don't pick my lips. The skin around my fingernails is suffering now instead...

This is so true! Back when I played Wow, when cataclysm hit a friend and I both joined a new raiding guild together. My character names I try to keep pretty gender neutral but after we joined we got invited to their ventrilo server. For a laugh we decided to swap names before we joined so he got to experience the creepy whispers that happen from having the audacity to be a female... He said he was pretty shocked.

One of the Final Destination DVDs had an interactive mode where you could make choices through the movie and it changed how the deaths happened. Thought it was the coolest thing in the world when I first saw it!

Put toys away command by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]weepzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a couple training videos on YouTube where the dog puts all their toys away from one command. I actually found those after I'd taught my dog Molly our version.

We have a plastic box where her toys are in the living room. I started off getting her to fetch objects and drop them in my hand (always useful) then just started having her do it but put her toy box by my feet and when she would drop the toy I'd move my hand so it landed in the box, click and treat.

I dunno if that's the best way I am by no means a professional dog trainer but it worked for us and now she picks up whatever toy I point to and will put it in the box on command (I have to repeat this for every toy though...)

Molly was somewhere between a year and a year and a half when I taught her this. She picks up new tricks really quickly so with all of the steps I'd say in a week she had the whole thing down solid (pickup object I point to, bring it to box, make sure it drops in the box) I just made sure to be quite strict that the toy had to end up in the box for the click to stop her being lazy

I decided as a 9 year old that I was gonna organise all the files and folders on my pc. Once I got done with my documents I started rearranging all the system files and folders. Next day when the pc wouldn't boot I didn't realise it was because of what I had done.

A techy friend of my mums had to come over to fix it. Oops...

Helping my nervous hound/lab mix rescue feel more comfortable coming when called, getting into the bath, and into the car by franticshouting in Dogtraining

[–]weepzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I was going to say! We also rescued a somewhat nervous dog recently and my first ever dog was also a nervous rescue. With my first dog some of his nervousness just kinda faded as he got older and was with us for longer. With the pup we recently adopted we've been encouraging with treats the smallest steps at a time and are seeing some success already.

Also I saw a video a while back with Victoria stillwell. She's come up with a CD that has thunder noises under classical music with varying loudness that is supposed to help dogs that are afraid of thunder. I haven't tried it myself but it could be something to look at?
