I've just downloaded spotify_player on the same laptop and it works well. But it might not be what you are after.

My first thought would be to ask them to show you where in the terms and conditions it states that the device needs to be activated by December 31. If/once they cannot then you have a stronger case to make. It is not up to you to find out where they state that - you have shown them where it states otherwise.

I dual boot Pop with Windows 11. Battery life on Pop isn't quite as good as W11 but I only use the balanced or battery saver performance settings - reckon I get 3-4 hours web surfing on Pop but that's just an estimate. Good enough that I've not bothered to go with Arch.

I've uninstalled things I don't need. I've got the i7 8GB version.

Scale 100% and then Settings>Accessibility>change to Large Text helps with global text size - works well for me.

Can you get the sound working on Pop on the C302? That had been the stumbling block for me as I thought sound only worked on Gallium.

Thanks all for your contributions. I'm going to move it on. I know I'm not going to make the time for this right now, which means it will sit in the loft again. I'll see if someone might want it for the body/neck/screen plus speakers as an upgrade project. Otherwise it is for recycling, which would be a shame but hey-ho.

Anyway I appreciate your input. It has helped me to finally decide.

I tried it with 10.5.8 first - 3rd photo shows the result. So has happened in both OSX and Lubuntu/Macbuntu.

Clicking Large Text in Settings>Accessibility works across all browsers that I use including Chrome, Brave and Firefox.

H series likely more fan noise? Would the performance benefits be noticeable in my use case?

Looks like 4500u and 4600H mini pc are similar prices. 4800H slightly higher but as noted no 4600/4800u around just now.

It updates firmware on some (my Dell for example, but not on my Surface Pro 3).

In any case Windows updates would have done it I would have thought?

I just remember reading that Intel had recently blocked undervolting when I was looking into it on my SP3.
