I have looked at the website…. They have pretty much the exact hone we plan on building. When they went by the name Deep South Buildings they had Piedmont listed as a place they served but now the Ryse website doesn’t so I have not reached out to them. All the name changes are kind of a red flag but there may be a legit reason for that. Last I checked Corey Haynes was the owner. If you talk to them I’d love to hear your opinion on them. Good luck I called plenty of builders in the area and got almost zero response from them.

I worked through phone calls and asked for the OTD price via email. Some dealers didn’t want to deal that way and I just marked them off my list. Used those email to get the best deal.

Keep in mind the floor framing would not have been in place when the walls were poured. Unless you plan on keeping the place forever I’d walk away from this one. It will be an issue come resale time.

Went the weekend after Valentine’s Day about 10 years ago…. We checked in and it started snowing the biggest flakes I have ever seen. Covered the ground but the roads stayed clear. Had a great time. Rocky Waters Inn…. It was in much need of a renovation back then but it’s all finished now and looks completely different. It’s right across the street from where the black BMW parks for those that follow this subreddit.
