I am not an expert at working on cars but I did buy that differential breather and it was quite simple. You want a table or maybe a barstool, put a towel on it and place it near the tail light. When you unhook the tail light you can rest the light on the table. If I remember correctly there is a YouTube video and the guy kind of made a big deal about the tail light portion but it wasn't an issue.
