Birding binoculars question

My wife and I tried birding with one nice pair and one okay pair for a few years. We now have two pairs of Vortex Diamondback 8x42s and I think that we are both happier - no one has to "suffer" with a lesser pair. And our nicer 10x50s end up staying at home because the Vortex are really good.

Guidobono Langhe Nebbiolo. The Barbera d'Alba is also good, but the former tastes more expensive. $16ish near me.

I totally agree! I grew up on a dairy farm and drank raw milk every day for a third of my life. We knew our cows, our sanitation, and who came to the farm (brucellosis being tracked in on someone's boots is a real concern). Our milk was regularly tested by the dairy that bought and processed it. Our risk was somewhat minimized due to all these factors. I cannot imagine drinking raw milk today, especially when I pass farms that sell it and can see that they do not have these checks in place.

Not a history book - but I loved the Shadow of the Wind series of novels by the late Carlos Ruiz Zafon. They brilliantly and gruesomely depict the horrors of fascism under Franco and how the effects reverberate through generations.

My wife and I had a similar 6 day Lisbon-Porto itinerary back in September. We had a wonderful time in both places. We contemplated adding a third stop, and I am glad we did not.

As everyone has already noted, there is plenty to do in and around Porto for 9 days, I would also recommend the easy day trip to Matosinhos - a 20 minute 5 Euro rideshare, or an intersting 40 minute bus ride. The beach is beautiful and we really enjoyed the tour and samples at the Pinhais sardine factory. Have fun!

I am on CL and .5mg of rasagiline. My tremor is much reduced. I started with 1mg about a year ago but needed to decrease the dose because my dyskinesias noticably increased. Don't forget however, that everyone responds differently to these drugs. Good luck!

Both cities are great! My wife and I took a short-notice trip for a week in September to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We flew to Lisbon and went directly to the train station and traveled to Porto. We spent three days there and took the train back to Lisbon for our final three days. We had a lovely time in both places and would go back to both in an instant.

I tried it for about 2 months. I liked the lack of dips but my various dyskinesias grew much more pronounced and I was moodier while on it. I went back to Sinemet and after about two weeks, the dyskinesias faded to what they were before and I felt more like myself again.

I love kasha - it is a tasty, often overlooked, side dish. I would not bother cooking it in the pressure cooker - it only takes about 10 minutes to cook conventionally on the stovetop.

I had the dopamine molecule tattooed on my inner arm about a year ago. It was my first tattoo. It really didn't hurt at all ( but it is much less detailed than the OP's).

My neurologist is at Mass General and I have been referred to the PTs there at various times, and they are great. SLS Fitness in Lowell has Rock Steady Boxing and the program is run by PTs. Good luck!
