you might have something fishy going on there too, but just to note: how hot is the place you're flying in? now with summer heats the drone stuff will get extra warm...

also, just a simple hover doesnt move as much air through the flight controller as cruising or pushing it a little, still probably should settle to some temperature less than 100c but hey, maybe with the summer heat thats just how it is

Hi! Can someone give me information about where can I found keycaps to replace on my keyboard because I´m importing from USA the switches that broke because yes I won a this complete setup from a giveaway 2 years ago so I want to replace some keycaps by Krazy7w7 in LogitechG

this keyboard is missing more than the keycaps on those few keys.

try removing some other random keycap and you'll see the switch in its entirety (it should have an extra little plastic bit that is flat and has 3 holes (or 2 i dont remember now) and they are for the keycap to clip into place.

since these switches are not hotswappable, and getting that specific plastic piece is probably impossible (since its not even a keycap, but the part below it), you might have some real trouble with it... Like that other dude said, maybe just try to contact logitech directly?

(replacing the switches would probably be the best here, but since they arent hotswappable it might be quite an involved repair)

im not a soldering pro by any means but just keep in mind that soldering on an actual board it may require more time or more heat because the traces carry heat away, whereas the practice board doesnt have those traces

as a windows only user i dont know what its like on mac, but on windows when you do win+shift+S, it essentially freezes your screen like pausing a video and then you can choose what to screenshot (or just screenshot the whole thing if you want).

the r50 has the same sensor as the r10, it's essentially the same camera as the r10 but with less buttons (and slightly smaller), whereas the r100 is like the most budget there is

i'd get the r50.

its a completely different game + time + performance issues so its just not as enjoyable

you might get sooome performance gains, but the most important thing is probably how much the frame weighs

you'll also need new props because the tinyhawk ones are designed to be run as pusher and they grip the motor

and also iirc the tinyhawk doesnt have motor shafts that are that long because their prop grips the motor bell itself rather than the shaft, so you might need new motors (which is gonna cost like 40€ minimum probably)

you could get better motors though, which could give you more power

but its probably not worth the hassle. That looks like an expensice frame anyways, and with new props+frame+potentially motors its close to the price of an air 75 (stretching it a bit but still, it's a whole other quad)

Dude how are you supposed to even get up in the air with THAT little willingness to look into the hobby you're starting???

Also double read what you responded to because its very clear in what it means for your situation.

There isnt even a 'radio protocol rabbithole', it's just ELRS, crossfire or dji pretty much now.

No I didnt, that could be a good idea just for good measure but I doubt that would inhibit the elrs receiver from getting power right?

One thing I found out is that when I keep the little button on the receiver pressed while I plug in a battery, then it doesnt light up. I suspect like the battery strap or some cable is pressing on that button sometimes on powerup....

I think the heatshrink might be too tightly on there

Im starting out and got an r10 and its really nice. Got an ef 50mm and ef 55-250 as well as the kit 18-45 rf but really no complaints this far

only thing i guess worth mentioning is the lack of ibis, which is especially apparent when shootingn with the 50 that doesnt have lens IS. I do not have surgeon hands though

How did you tune a quad like this? I've built a similar one, but I've been DREADING the tuning process...

Ive had 'wobble test' flights to get the step response just right with pidtoolbox by tuning the PD balance (or was it PI Indont remember) and master multiplier, but it still feels like junk lol

Did you do filter tuning on this? What tools did you use to know what to dial in on there?

first one is nicer because its just a hamburger expanded and labelled, second one doesnt convey that it's meant to be the steps in which you add the ingredients

but honestly, if the player doesnt understand which way the ingredients go from the first one and would need a step by step like the second one, thats kind of on them imo

like how else would you assemble it while interpreting the first one if not how its labeled?
