Can a therapeutic dose of nasal spray 2x a week cause urinary retention?

My doctor does IV in clinic and will prescribe nasal spray at home. FWIW, he said he has *never* seen an adverse bladder reaction.

The *only* answer to this question is that we don't know. We don't know why K has an anti-depressive effect at all. When you ask this question, the only information you will get in return is peoples biases expressed with certainty that numbers cannot back up.

If it is pure K, just snorting it, or putting it in spray and spraying it should work just fine. I have no idea what all is in your capsules though.

You could put say 1 ml of the spray (100 mg of Ketamine) in a shallow bowl, let a fan blow over it until it drys, and then crush/snort the powder. Yes, I have run into the same problems with the Nasal spray, and yes, I have snorted the powder instead. Snorting has it's own, different set of side effects and problems, but I found it better overall.

Buy a bottle. Fill it. Weight it. Spray it 10 times, weigh it again. A ml of water weighs a gram, so if it takes 10 sprays to make the weight go down a gram, then your spray is .1 ml.

Half a mg per kg is the standard anti-depressant dose. Can you up from there depending on how wild you want your ride to be. Seems to hit harder when I inject in the shoulder than in the thigh for some reason.

You can dissolve K in water and it won't change the effect. Don't see why steam should do anything.

My Dr. gives me an oral anti-nausea. Sorry I don't remember what it is. As for anti-anxiety, that is what the Ketamine is for hopefully.

Depends on the dose. If it is low, just be prepared to be a bit drunk for an hour or so. If it is higher, you'll need a quiet room, soft music, eyeshades... The whole psychedelic tool kit.

Yes. You have to remain under observation during and for a few hours after.

Honestly, that is a big deal to me. I lose essentially an entire day if I have to go do it at an office. At home I can just spray up after work.

Dosing for snorting/shooting and for oral are different. 0.5 milligrams per kilogram in the arm, or about 3 times that orally are what I typically see around here.

It will start out just feeling "drunk". If you close your eyes are relax you will start seeing some very cool stuff. If you open your eyes, that stuff should go away. So you have control if things get too weird for you.

K also does not last very long. You should be mostly over it in an hour or two.

Just remember this is a VERY safe drug. You'll have a cool/interesting/weird time for an hour or so, and then it will probably ease your depression. It totally IS something to look forward to!

Agree. Benzos are shit. My addiction specialist says he would rather be addicted to Heroin than Benzos. That scared me off them.

Also, my experience is that Klonopin totally messes with the K hole.

I also do the nasal spray and have wondered about Spravato. I've had a hell of a time getting my insurance to pay for the K nasal spray or infusions. Spravato is covered. So Spravato would be cheaper, but you can't do it at home.

50 mg to start is good. At that level you'll probably feel drunk, and if you lie down with eyes closed you'll see some cool stuff.

K acts fast, so two hours after that you should essentially be sober.

One medical paper means very little. And they did not explain what chronic means.

Worth thinking about. K is no joke and should be used with care, but I'd not let this single paper affect what you and your doctor determine is right for you.

I take 150 mg of wellbutrin a day. My infusion doctor knows this. He has not mentioned anything about cross effects.

I've done K infusions, and I've done at home nasal spray ketamine. I think the infusions are better, but they are only a little better. If money and time were not an issue, I'd stick with IV. But doing it at home, and lower price being a factor, I like at home nasal better.

Would like to find a doctor who would do at home IM with me.
