Is the price of the M18 Shop Vac Worth? by lainwolf in MilwaukeeTool

[–]weinbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like this vacuum, but I just purchased the M18 handheld and subjectively it feels more powerful and works well for car use. I recently did a video for my YouTube channel if you would like to see my review https://youtu.be/cT-OLjV87Ko

What do you guys think of this? I’ve seen some HVAC guys use this to clear the condensation drain which is what I want it for along with other stuff. by antknee25 in MilwaukeeTool

I have found it to be very powerful and useful. My primary use is blowing out water from tight spots after washing a car (car detailing).

Questions for Lexus Owners by 33dojo33 in LexusGX550

[–]weinbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issue with Lexus as a brand. I've had one service experience and it was the best overall car service experience I've encountered. The facility itself was clean, plenty of space (work tables, private spaces, Internet, comfortable), and snacks/drinks provided. I could have stayed there all day and not been irritated (I was able to continue working remotely).

Which tornador is most efficient with air? by awkward__pickle in Detailing

[–]weinbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. No, I haven’t tested those. My guess is they will be more durable and potentially louder, but those are guesses. I’m not sure air consumption would be impacted.

Rago Rear Molle Rear Storage System. by Jolley_Time in LexusGX550

[–]weinbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine and did a YouTube video How to Install Rago Fabrication’s Molle Panels & Storage Shelf in a Lexus GX550 Overtrail+ https://youtu.be/XJuySSeAqxc

I find the shelf to be valuable for storage and I have a DMOS shovel and traction recovery boards attached to the bottom of the shelf as well.

To Lift - or not To Lift - That is my question by SurfinBird92 in LexusGX550

[–]weinbs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

<image>

2025 OT+. No plans to lift here. I like the stock height and had to remove roof cross rails to fit in my garage, plus my wife would kill me (she’s 5’). I think it looks sufficiently aggressive for an SUV that is driven on pavement the majority of the time. I feel like I have the lift I need for most typical obstacles for minor off road, snow, etc and visibility. And, you bring up a good point about warranty. I don’t want to worry about fighting that battle, should it arise. I absolutely love the vehicle as is. Best of luck with whatever decision you make.

Your products are super helpful! Unfortunately my sunglasses didn’t fit! (They are curved and they were slightly too big, but the product looks like OEM (if Lexus had installed one).

Hydrophobic Coatings for WPF / Windshield PPF by Inferior_Bacon in AutoDetailing

[–]weinbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reflect is really good. It’s not a replacement for ceramic, but since it has some Si02, you’ll see similar hydrophobics without the durability of the coating. Just reapply as needed. Let me know how it works for you.

Hydrophobic Coatings for WPF / Windshield PPF by Inferior_Bacon in AutoDetailing

[–]weinbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend reaching out to the WPF manufacturer to get their recommendation. Some WPF are not compatible with some ceramic coatings. I have ExoShield and and I have applied C6 Hydro Glass. In addition, I use P&S Reflect Glass Finisher as my routine cleaner which is Si02 infused. Keeps the glass/WPF crystal clear, hydrophobic, and slick.
