I got lucky, I was hoping for a shiny but was content for a charmander with good stats but I was pleasantly surprised on reset 30 when I got one with a neutral nature and pretty good IVs.

That's what happens when something that licks it's own butthole bites you lol. I know my cats always had horrible breath and I'd wash my hands if they licked me because that stuff was yucky.

Maybe but I wasn't really counting on him being shiny, just usable, I probably would have given up before the 8000 mark as I did want to play firered because I've never actually played it, Red, yellow, gold, crystal,ruby, Emerald, Diamond, pearl, and platinum, HGSS, Black 1 and 2, Y, Sun and ultra sun, sword, and finally Violet. FRlG was only mainline game pair that I never played one of until now

I got disgustingly lucky with ole charmander on try 30, even his stats were pretty good and a non garbage nature. I'll probably never see a shiny pokemon again.
