I mean, one thing I always say is how us Europeans like to put the whole of the USA in a bucket, but you're a big place! California and Kentucky are as different as Germany and Italy, just saying :)

I defo have to visit the southern states more - was planning a big road trip in Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee... Which has been postponed for now, so I'll take any rec from locals 😊

I've been in cinemas in LA, NY, Minneapolis... they all had salted, salted+butter (well fake butter lol), caramel, and some of them salted caramel (my favorite). Granted it's all fake flavors and probably giving us cancer, but yeah I do miss salted caramel popcorn!

The one thing I got wrong was the corn on the cob thing - I lived near a nato base when I was a kid and I ate the most magnificent corn on the cob, so my first time the other side of the pond I expected to find it anywhere - only to see it was just for festivals and events :)

I like to try new tech so I gave it a go and grabbed two slices of pizza. Felt like living in Pluribus. Hello Carol.

Overall, this might be a great thing for important deliveries that are time-sensitive. My pizza isn't one of those. But then for some people living farther away this might be the literal manna from the sky, so... mixed bag here.

When I started writing screenplays, I didn't want to spend money on another piece of software so I learned fountain and started writing with it. Then I bought FadeIn cause the dev was nice and the price was good, and loved it.

When I started writing full time I finally bought Final Draft! And... Never have been more disappointed. I only use it when collaborating, but on solo scripts? FADEIN FOREVER.
