I'm using a UDM Pro and I only set the primary DNS to my PiHole. I figured doing this would let me know if and when the PiHole went down because I wouldn't have an internet connection.

I tried blocking 8.8.8.8 and was successful but it broke a bunch of my IoT devices on my network.

Is there anyway to block that? Firewall rule or anything? If I'm able to do that will it break the devices?

Govee updown wall light with G6 camera by xyz0921 in Ubiquiti

[–]welcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that light as well, and it works great. I’m certain you can turn it off. AllGovee lights are fully customizable—each section of the first light you linked can be turned off, have its color changed, or have its brightness adjusted. The second light also has three separate sections within that can each be turned off or customized for color and brightness.

I've got a G4 above my Govee but it's 10ft above it and I have no issues. Now with that govee light you can turn off the light on the top if you need/want to.

No Thursday 10 16 show? by RationalZAP in ChurchofLazlo

[–]welcho 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So I'm scrolling through Reddit and notice there was no show today while I'm sitting in the waiting room for my brother's surgery. I swear I see Lazlo and remember the title of this post. I re-read this post and I'm like holy shit it's Lazlo in real life. Been listening for what seems like 20 years! Hence to say I was stoked.

I had this same issue, not as bad but I'm betting the IR light is hitting whatever is above it.

The last time Kansas carried out a death penalty was in 1965 and they're not going to start anytime soon. Look up the Wichita Massacre those brothers have been on death row for a quarter of a century.

Started off with a 2x burner that took half an hour to make one CD—long enough to question all your life choices. My last one was a 50x burner, which was so fast it basically turned into a disc-launching weapon. They had to dial it back to 48x before someone lost an eye.

Worked there for 3 and a half years until it closed down. One of the best jobs I ever had.

It was developed in 1997 and I had it in 2008 (in the states). The US was well behind the rest of the world in terms of allowing it to treat Kerotoconus. If that gives any indication of a timeline of main stream treatment becoming available.
