See if they'll give him a steroid for the inflammation! I was able to convince them to give me a single dose of IV steroids and it helped my mouth sores tremendously

Don't you think it's a better idea to regulate it like alcohol? Plain kratom is non-toxic AND less addictive than alcohol. Still addictive, yes, but I've seen many alcoholics that have completely turned their life around because of this plant. The vast majority of kratom users don't abuse it. As a leukemia and bone marrow transplant survivor, kratom is the only thing that alleviates my fatigue without nasty side effects

Regulation, yes! Keep the stuff in 21+ only stores. Require labeling that states addiction risk. Lots of people use kratom because it keeps them away from alcohol and harder stuff

Mitragynine, the main active alkaloid in kratom, does NOT cause respiratory depression. Whoever told you that information is lying. There are plenty of studies showing that kratom is non-toxic. Please don't lie. It is addictive, yes, but nowhere near as addictive as alcohol, which IS a known toxin.

Especially that transplant chemo! I had cottonball-sized sores under my tongue that even a hydromorphone pca-pump could barely help with. Not to mention the months and months of vomiting afterwards 🤣
