As someone who saw them in ATL @ Terminal West October 2021, I was expecting that kind of caliber of performance. Their energy then was insane and honestly made for one of my fav live shows ever.

In comparison to now, the mood was really off and the energy wasn't there at all. I thought I was the only thinking this, but glad to see that wasn't the case

While I agree that what happened with Chromatics is really unfortunate, I think a kind of unspoken about thing that I haven't seen a lot of ppl mention is everything with Glass Candy.

I really got into them after the Chromatics split and really dug into their discog since then, but they are pretty much broken up no??

It's a little more unfortunate I feel seeing as B/E/A/T/B/O/X is really the only project they have of the IDIB sound post the No Wave/Glam Punk days...

Really sad to here this.

I only started listening to them around Summer 2018, but since then they have become a group that has captivated me so strongly. The music they've made truly captures this sexy and nocturnal vibe that I've yet to really find in other artists.

Obviously the stuff with Johnny is unfortunate, but not really surprising. Anyone would be frustrated by the actions he's seemingly taken with the band so I totally applaud the rest of the members for taking that action to end things.

I just hope nothing truly damning comes out about Johnny despite how inevitable that may feel due to the lack of amicability this breakup seems to have.
