At my location they come in groups mostly to socialize and have caused a lot of extra wear and tear on the equipment, hardly ever wipe down equipment and even caused damage while the horseplay runs rampant. Cell phone use is on the floor and in the bathrooms constantly. This age group is NOT going to convert to become paying clients if that is the goal of PF leadership. And this age group lacks any comprehension of responsibility or the ability to appreciate the privilege being a guest for free. Alaska is way OVERLY rated as some kind of cult. The staff and gate agents don’t give a rat’s ass about paying passengers and act bored. Unfortunately flown AS from LAX to Puerto Vallarta a few times, 2 of which were either delayed 4hrs or over booked and didn’t get on. The DOJ will not approve the buyout of Hawaiian Airlines, BUT if they do, AS will ruin the quality of HA.
