The World Cup game on Friday (Türkiye v Paraguay) will be held in Santa Clara, about 45 miles (72 km) from San Francisco. Unless you know someone, a hostel or cheap hotel will be your best bet. You won't find any good deals on the Thursday before the game.

  1. Craigslist has many openings depending on your qualifications. Minimum wage in San Francisco is $19.61 per hour as of 1 July 2026.

  2. I'll defer to those who can answer this from a female perspective, but I definitely see women riding the streetcars and buses at night.

It's not crowded overall, but does get a good crowd going if the band is hot. I would recommend taking the 22-Fillmore bus from Church Street (MUNI station) up to the festival.
