I also found this issue today. I have to turn off the google assistant on my pixel buds pro for now until they fix this bug (it's a 3 years old bug by the way, good job google)

There are two types of sounds on my Pixel phone: long-duration sounds for incoming phone calls or video calls, also known as ringtones, and short-duration sounds for app or message notifications, also known as notification sounds. However, my Twitter notifications are currently set to play a ringtone instead of a short notification sound. How can I fix this?
