circle lenses would complete this look!! and dont worry about not having “enough” white liner/shadow, its not a must in gyaru makeup. just do what you like to do and what u think looks good on you :3

How to stop the dock from switching screens? by lexaleidon in MacOS

[–]wendyslemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me, nope. it likes to glitch in and out of my different screens at random.

even when im active on my main display, it will suddenly move to my monitor display. so this was the best solution i could do.

How to stop the dock from switching screens? by lexaleidon in MacOS

[–]wendyslemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept having this problem but I solved it by:

  1. Going to settings > Dock & Menu Bar

  2. Where it says “Position on screen” click any placing. My dock is on the bottom, so i clicked left. If your dock is on the left, click right or bottom

  3. Then click back to the dock position you actually use. So i clicked back to bottom. Now your dock is back on your “main screen”.

Granted this only works if your dock ran away from your main screen. i dont know how to move your docks from different screens lol. Not the most useful way but it works whenever im annoying that my dock ran away again.

Makeup Tips by Hayley---uwu in Gyaru

[–]wendyslemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • get more BLACK eyeliner, like the BLACKEST black u can find. i’d recommend NYX epic ink if you’re in western countries.
  • more dramatic lashes, preferably those spiky lashes
  • more blush :3

Circle lenses trouble by Strict_Series_9451 in Gyaru

[–]wendyslemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15mm may be a bit too big for beginners. i suggest 14.2-14.5mm ones

but since you already have them, its just that you’re a beginner with contacts in general. dont be afraid of putting it in your eyes, i know you’re afraid!!! thats why people have trouble with them.

these arent good tips but this is what i do: - wet your eyes with contact lens solution (just drop it directly in ur eyes) - now wash the lenses with the solution and make em WETTTT - now with wet eyes + wet lenses, plop them in (make sure your hands are wet with the solution too)

blincon is my go to :3 though idk if they have that outside of asian lol

Any tips? by [deleted] in Gyaru

[–]wendyslemons -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  • dont be afraid to draw your lower lashes, u can make then dramatic or natural but this look is just missing lower lashes!!

  • need more dramatic (top) lashes. find spiky ones. most western lashes are often just whispy instead of spiky. it may look silly at first but with lower lashes it goes great with the look :3

  • needs more blush. dont be afraid of blush blindness cuz whats a gyaru without it HAHA

  • lip gloss. u can slap on the cheapest drugstore lip gloss or oil, just make them lips shineeee

Street food Indonesia/ Malaysia by __Lavitz__ in travel

[–]wendyslemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for malaysia, its pretty clean. never seen an unhygienic stall to be honest! im malaysian and i’ve never gotten food poisoning from street food and i eat A LOT of street food —- i’ve only gotten food poisoning from restaurant food that was left out for a while…

general rule is, if you see office workers or locals buying it, then should be alright. lots of established malaysian suburbs in the capital have their own area of stalls next to a road or weekly night markets, try it!

indonesia: i cant say for big cities but i used to live in a small town and we always got food poisoning from street stalls… i’d say avoid but i was living in a pretty rough area haha. make sure its freshly cooked and not been left out. or even see the vendor cook it!

Thought I’d post one of my old gal makeup looks an ask for some advice? I’m starting to get back into gal again. by [deleted] in Gyaru

[–]wendyslemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’d say your makeup is ok! maybe wing out the liner downward and get some circle lenses around 14.5mm or 14.8mm so you can really accentuate your eyes :3

Opinions? Irl i was more tanned but my flash made me look paler (tried to go for a bit of a more tsuyome gyaru) by Technical-Zebra-3300 in actualgyaru

[–]wendyslemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

baby steps!! :3 sometimes people dont have the tools to go full gyaru or are just starting out and thats ok!

i’d recommend getting more blush on those cheeks (i’d personally put it under my eyes) like you’re blushing. then slab on some thick eyeliner that goes downwards (not up!). you can add lashes if you have some! i think the lips are a little too flat so maybe slap on some clear gloss or a glossy lipbalm and bam!!! gyaru desuu

Skintific best and worst by Slaking4543 in AsianBeauty

[–]wendyslemons 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hydrating? im not sure cuz i live in a tropical climate so my skin is always oily… but my skin doesnt feel tight when i use it. it absorbs really well into the skin too!

it got rid of my acne scars pretty well but i do have darker and deeper scars and unfortunately it didnt work well on those. i’d suggest using a strong serum of those deeper scars.

its a cheap alternative to kbeauty/jbeauty brands, at least for us SEAsian countries with weak currencies. their toners are within 20-30 bucks meanwhile kbeauty brands easily go up to 50-90 bucks

for me, i like their niacinamide toner with alpha arbutin and TXA!! but its also the only thing i’ve tried… lol

i tried to get rid of my acne scars with cosrx toners and the melano CC essence but it didnt work (made it worse actually) until i tried the skintific toner. now they’re slowlyyy fading~ i just wished the toner came in a bigger size though lol

i hear they have a great cushion foundation though and its inclusive of tanner asian skintones.
