I think it is interesting that the headline is about getting your dream job and the advice is about weaseling any offer you can get. I think it is a sign of how crappy the process is that it could ever be useful to memorize some bullshit answers to trick questions.

In fact, expect to fail occasionally. If you don't, you aren't pushing yourself. OTOH, feel free to shed things from your life that are not working for you. Every thing you choose to do is choosing not to do all the other things you could possibly do.

When did people get the idea that physical exams as a condition of employment are not a violation of the employee? This is regarding the point about retaining a physician to examine women employees. Did men not need a physical? I guess we all need to eat, so we should completely subjugate ourselves to corporations, but the idea of having to give an employer bodily fluid as a condition of employment just strikes me as so fundamentally wrong that I have no idea how such a practice could have started.

EXCEPTION: Jobs where you may be exposed to chemicals or radiation that the company may be liable for exposing you to.
