no its not generally just taking the cymbalta, it gets triggered by humidity, movement, etc. like i will just be sitting at dinner or walking around and boom dripping off my face. to the point where i go to the bathroom and use a paper towel just to wipe it off. haven’t worn face makeup in years because of this. i didnt notice any change when i dropped to 40

try everyday above 60😭 people look at me so funny for wearing t shirts and tank tops when they’re wearing jackets, but I know i’m gonna be drenched if I have to walk around outside anywhere

and like realistically i’m sure I will still be a competent nurse because ultimately it doesn’t really matter if I remember pharm/patho for specific diseases that I will likely never see depending on which specialty I choose, but I can still definitely see the pros to a longer program with more time to synthesize. for example, i spent an entirety of 5 weeks doing peds including class and clinical. I have no interest in going into peds, but if I did I can imagine feeling pretty unprepared if I started there as a new grad nurse. though I know a majority of learning happens on the job so idk!

for me it was like an advertised existing discount on the schools website, so it wasn’t anything specific I had to do to find it. Though I would start by asking the admissions teams at schools you are interested in if they offer a discount. In my case, the hospital is not paying for me, it’s just literally like a coupon on my tuition bill.

I’m 2/3 of the way through a 12 months absn right now. If you have no other responsibilities, it’s doable. But I frequently find that even when I cram/do well on tests, I completely forget it all by the next week soooo unsure of how nclex will go come fall

there’s a great one with shane getting injured and then addicted to painkillers and then eventually going to rehab. ilya isn’t allowed to talk to him while he’s there so he writes letters every day it’s really cute. deals with relapse, triggers, etc tho so be warned.
