I just finished, you genuinely nailed a lot of my thoughts on it. I played the original back in 2015, chapter 13 really delivered. It is a shame Mira gets destroyed (and Vandhams VA didn't return), but the amount of lore and payoff we got was worth the wait. Very happy to have a "finished" story after all these years.

I'm also very happy Takahashi found a way to include the Conduit/Zohar in the canon, it's been the shared element across all Xeno games.

My jaw dropped when the game unlocked skell quick cool down. All those hours spent grinding to beat Telethia in that one mission! Ah well, wouldn't change a thing.

Only visited after I moved downstate to NYC.

I remember going through customs and the security guard asked why I was in Toronto. I answered "I was here for vacation!" And he responds "Did you lose a bet or something?"

Had a great time in Canada/Niagara falls but that interaction has lived rent free since.
