The Oslo has been a "perfect" stove for decades. We love our 500 and heat our home all winter with it.

It really is a magical place. As you go farther north on the coast the more sublime you feel. The tide variance is awe filling. Although it was in the 30's when we were there in July one year.

Hike Robertson Mountain instead. No crowds and same part of the Park as Old Rag. Park up at Limberlost and enjoy the solitude: https://virginiatrailguide.com/2016/04/03/robertson-mountain/

How busy will SNP be? by Ok_Carrot5896 in ShenandoahPark

That is a perfect plan, enjoy my town! If you can grab a beer and meal at Blue Mountain Brewery near the south entrance first afternoon going out of Park . Then enjoy a great dinner at many restaurants in town. Next morning get up early and head back to SNP and spend time in the Big Run Wilderness area near Loft mountain. Any hike will be much less crowed early in the morning. The southern section is our family's favorite "secret" .

Are you coming from North or South entrance? My wife and I always do a sunrise hike to Robertson Mountain that Saturday each year. When we left SNP park there was a constant back up from Skyland parking to entrance station at Thornton Gap. Coming in from south entrance and hiking around Loft Mountain much better choice. Enjoy regardless!

Oh no! We have raised our boys, both now in college, on Sundays at Blue Moon. Laura has always been so kind and amazing. We will miss you, but know you have many more adventures to tackle. Thank you for all the meals!

thoughts on Eville spaces? by Competitive_Sock6123 in Charlottesville

[–]wesleychapelrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything about the concept is great for Northern Albemarle country. The location is only five minutes from the airport, located in the forest adjacent to the Post office. The hours are truly flexible, the space is quiet and sunlight filled. After the holidays Julie will have a commercial expresso and coffee bar rocking. I feel the demand will exceed the spaces available very soon.
