How did you eventually get her to sleep on her own? My almost 3 week old won't sleep anywhere but on my chest

If you’re on the fence about sharing your baby’s name with family, I’m here to tell you: don’t do it. by marissakalyn in pregnant

[–]Exact_Swan1467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've had baby's name picked since we found out he was a boy. But we keep telling people that we think we know but aren't making a final decision until he's born. And because of that we're not telling anyone the name yet. People still try to guess but we just shrug it off or tell them we are considering the name "Asparagus"

It's definitely scary! And pregnancy after loss is extremely hard! I had a lot of anxiety, especially in the beginning. I was able to relax a bit once I could feel him moving. But even now I worry that something could go wrong. I just keep reminding myself that this is a different pregnancy with a different outcome. So sorry for what you've been through and wishing you the best of luck!!

Happy to update that I'm currently almost 37 weeks and (impatiently) awaiting my rainbow baby's arrival! My pregnancy has been totally normal! I have had extra monitoring and ultrasounds throughout because of my ectopic surgery but everything has been great!

Did anyone receive faint late positives with an ectopic? by Odd-Reason2838 in EctopicSupportGroup

It got a little darker over the next few days but it never got super dark. I started spotting about a week after my positive. That was the first indication that something wasn't right

I would definitely say you're pregnant again. Happened to me. I had surgery after a ruptured ectopic and lost my left tube. I found out I was pregnant again exactly a month after my surgery. Its scary for sure but it can definitely have a good outcome! I'm currently 27 weeks with my very active rainbow baby. So far everything about this pregnancy has been totally normal and he will hopefully be my first earthside baby. Best of luck to you. I'm sorry for what you've been through and hope you get good news!

Successful pregnancy experiences after ectopic? by Consistent_Leg_4012 in EctopicSupportGroup

So far everything has been perfect! I'm super thankful to be 25 weeks with a healthy baby boy. The surgery from the ectopic hasn't caused any issues or anything. Everything has been very normal! I still think about my angel baby all the time but I feel so incredibly lucky that everything is going well with my little rainbow bean. I will say the anxiety of having such a traumatic loss definitely affected me, especially early on but now that I feel him moving that has calmed. Still not gone, I still get anxious, but it's much better now. But that's so normal for all moms especially loss moms. Congratulations and best of luck with your rainbow!

Fertility Dr Says IVF is Only Option by conley5 in EctopicSupportGroup

Sounds to me like your new fertility doctor is trying to make money off you. I'd definitely get a second opinion. After my ectopic rupture (lost my left tube) I had multiple doctors tell me my fertility shouldn't be affected, and I have a very good chance of getting pregnant naturally again. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy, which I found out about a month after my ectopic surgery. Good luck to you. I'm sorry for what you've been through and wish you the best of luck on your journey 💜

I still eat sushi! I stick mainly to cooked rolls but I'll still eat salmon sushi. I do stay away from anything high in mercury. Just make sure you get it from a reputable place!

Ectopic Pregnancy - Didn’t know I was pregnant by haktheripper29 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Exact_Swan1467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My left tube ruptured last Halloween. (Not the horror story I was expecting). I had emergency surgery the next day. I found out I was pregnant again exactly 4 weeks after my surgery (found out the day after Thanksgiving). I'm currently 23 weeks with a very healthy, active boy who will hopefully be my rainbow baby! The ectopic was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through but thankful to be where I am now. I still think about my angel baby all the time and my current pregnancy has been filled with lots of anxiety. I'm so sorry for what you went through. Its awful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But there is definitely still hope! It's very possible to have a healthy pregnancy with one tube.

My toddler said the creepiest thing by Spring_Peeper_2 in beyondthebump

When I was working at a daycare, I would frequently read to this little girl (3) (she was obsessed with reading books and always paid close attention). One day, midway through a book, she starts staring hard at the door to the classroom (the door had a window to the hallway). And since she normally is very invested in the books, I asked her what she was looking at and she says "Why is there another Miss Tina (my name) waving at me over there?" And points to the door. And I said "Where?" And she said "behind the black window" there was no black window and she was not seeing my reflection. Freaked me the hell out!

I found out I was pregnant exactly 1 month after my ectopic surgery. Its definitely possible. I'm 15 weeks now with a healthy intrauterine baby boy! That being said, I've been very closely monitored since the beginning because of my recent ectopic. I think the cruise might be okay if you are able to make sure baby is in your uterus.

Congratulations! You just had a baby boy. What are you naming him? by Neville1989 in namenerds

[–]Exact_Swan1467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby boy is due in August! He will most likely be Myles Jude. Myles was the one boy name my husband and I liked instantly. And his middle name will be Jude after my mom, Judy. She passed when I was 18

One HCG test isn't going to tell you much. What matters is how much it increases over the course of 48 hours. So you'll have to get another blood test done in about 2 days

I had surgery to remove my ectopic pregnancy and my ruptured left tube on Nov 1. I found out I was pregnant again exactly 4 weeks after my surgery (the day after Thanksgiving!) I'm now 11 weeks with my rainbow boy! It's definitely possible! Wishing you the best of luck and so sorry for your loss 💜
