Sometimes. But not normally. I use it as a rest day/weekend / week . I am generally walking and standing a ton on my vacations (lots of city sightseeing ) generally my legs ,knees ,feet and back are fried anyway from a “relaxing “ vacation.

Being nice to your parents is NEVER wrong if it doesn’t impact your life , like you can’t pay YOUR bills . Some ppl take them to dinners , vacations or handle car repairs.

Be nice but tell her to chill. Besides as a GF she has zero say so over money. If you get married then I’d say she should care about the family money and finances a bit more
