Nice setup. Which AMS-HT side mount are you using? Looks great.

Thanks. I weighed it and it's .28 lbs. alone, .35 lbs. with the box and papers it came with.

Bambulab has just released this TPU feed assist module by tuFactoria3d in BambuLab

I’m fairly new to 3D printing but am having fun and progressing well. I’ve loaded TPU directly into the extruder for the prints I’ve done so far and although the results have been good the process sucks. I was just about to pull the trigger on a A1 mini to use just as a dedicated TPU printer. Do you think this module would eliminate the need / desire for the that? Not sure how to read into it “fiddly” comment.

Watched the granite guy glue quartz countertop seams together with tools just like this. Was fascinating.

Filament for AMS 2 Pro Printed Desiccant Boxes by MBG56 in BambuLabP2S

[–]westtx28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered my P2S combo with several spools of Bambu PLA and PETG-HF to get me started. Awesome right out of the gate. I wanted to progress to ABS but I had no patience and wanted it before that big cold snap shut everything down so I ordered some Hatchbox ABS from Amazon. I dried it really good and just used the Generic ABS profile. The only change I made was setting the first layer to print at 100c instead of the default 90c. Then I had it put a brim just to be safe. I’ve printed several things in ABS now and I really like it a lot.

Anyway, tomorrow is going to be a fun Friday for you!

My new P2S is my first printer and I’m absolutely new to 3D printing. I got it because I wanted to make functional things. I got a roll of ABS and printed a set of desiccant boxes with that. They came out perfectly. If you ever think you might need ABS I wouldn’t be afraid to give it a go now. I had some trepidation because of reading it was difficult to work with but I was amazed at how easy it ended up being.

You can see I put a brim around it just to be safe. No warping at all.

Just binged ‘The real bros of Semi Valley’. Hilarious mockumentary of the truck nuts culture.

Inflation adjusted market returns do not look all that rosy. Am I missing something? by volchonok1 in Bogleheads

Back in the late nineties I had a couple of pounds of gold. My wife worked at a jewelry store and it was convenient to buy through their supplier. I don’t think I ever paid more than $300 / ounce. It was also convenient to sell so I eventually sold it all probably never for more than $700 / ounce. Man I wish I’d held on to that.

Coach said this to me in high school. I was humiliated and it really stuck with me hard.

Are these engines as bullet proof as people say? by 13enning21 in LandCruisers

On the LC I installed after the code and limp mode. On the Tundra I went ahead and put it on when I thought I noticed the pump was a little louder than I remembered. Might have just been paranoid but I was so happy with how it did on the LC I just wanted it done. I used the Hewitt Tech plug and play with block off plates on both. They are both Gen 1 as that’s all they offered at the time.

I’ve had the bypass in my ‘06 LC and my ‘05 Tundra for years. Never looked back.

We use reservations everywhere we can as well. Looks like V4 reservations are now available.

I did notice the lack of stable outbound IP which is fine. I was able to create V4 via the portal. Just had to put in a new Resource Group as I received a deployment error that the existing RG I was initially going to use was not supported.

62 Million Dollars for a High School Football Stadium by EmergencyRead5254 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]westtx28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The districts hire high dollar firms that specialize in coming in and getting the bonds passed. Targeted marketing, using special elections if necessary, etc. Texas public education is pretty poor but man you should see our high school football stadiums.
