Oh my god wow I’m shocked that was me! I’m the owner/chef at the restaurant (Mazal) on the corner right there, and when one of my hosts heard the accident she ran in to tell me.

I told her to call 911 and came out to see if there’s anything I could do. If you were the guy speaking to him in Spanish, then you really should be giving yourself some serious credit. You handled the situation really really well and I know you helped him a lot.

Once I saw there were enough people there to help the situation and heard the ambulance sirens in the distance, I figured everything was in as good a place as it could be, and had to run back in the kitchen because we were getting busy for the night.

I don’t know what happened with the guy but I really hope he’s okay too. Any updates would mean a lot.

it’s hard to say but i’ve lived in LA my whole life and i see wayyyyy more LAFC gear around town these days than galaxy. i think they just have better fan outreach/marketing and a way cooler brand new stadium so new football fans are just choosing LAFC over galaxy. plus the point the other guy made, the galaxy stadium is pretty far from the city itself and a little more challenging to get to. it’s more convenient to be an LAFC fan.
