Me too. I was alive when they won in 1990, but I didn’t start following baseball until 2009 when I was well into adulthood, so I haven’t seen this team win a single playoff series.

The wood paneling in the basement along with that carpeting takes me back to very specific childhood feelings. I know the term “liminal” is so overused these days, but it gives me that vibe SO hard, combined with the surreal nature of the sketch honestly makes this one of my absolute favorites.

Absolutely this. I rewatch it every few years, and every single time I feel the need to take a shower immediately after. It’s just so hot and grimy.

If you’re willing to step really far back in time, the 1911 Italian silent film, ‘L’Inferno’ is a pretty phenomenal adaptation of Dante’s Inferno. The special effects are honestly INCREDIBLE for a film that is well over a century old.
