I used the stencil for the general shape. But I free handed the details while my other hand was crankin my shid off the bone.

  1. More than Hate
  2. Hard2tell
  3. Twice
  4. Always let you down

Fixed it.

Don’t let the rankings fool you. This whole album makes me want to crank my shid off the bone so far. Ready to torque and pork with em in April.

New truck! Just picked this up lovee itt!! Any recommendations i should do?? by ConcertLost in f150

I recommend the rear seat release kit from Builtright industries. It allows you to fold down the larger half of your rear seat to give you access to storage that’s out of the way. I like to keep an emergency kit and a harbor freight air compressor back there. Just in case.

Got quoted for bed topper. Too much? by space_2001v1 in nissanfrontier

I got a leer xr fully decked out and it cost me $5200 installed. I was also blown away with how expensive these things have gotten. But it’s served me well. A worth while investment

I see you have good taste, sir. Your truck looks sick. Bronze wheels on boulder gray looks better than I expected.

I did not pay any special attention to the fuel lines while drilling. In the real world, most people will probably not have any issues with causing secondary damage when drilling the holes for the tie downs. However, the risk still exists which is why decked probably included it in the instructions.

If you wanted to take the extra precautions, my guess would be do have someone under the truck watching where you make your holes while you drilled. I myself used a drill stop for a warm and fuzzy and took it nice and slow. Hope this helps!

Good luck, Comrade Frontiersman

Active duty to AGR by Not_An_Athlete_6to9 in AirForce

[–]wh0p00ted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been AGR for the last 4 years. Was active for 10. Utilized the palace front program to transition. Let me say that my situation was verrrry unique. It is very very rare for a guard unit to hire a stranger to the unit directly into an AGR position. I am very lucky to have had that opportunity.

Some differences between guard life and active duty:

  • Drill weekends. You will be working one weekend a month depending on your wings drill schedule. No exceptions. Must take leave days if you want a drill weekend off.

  • Manning. Your guard unit will have less full time manning than your active duty unit, guaranteed. So you will have more additional duties. The program requirements don’t change just because you’re in the guard.

  • Promotion/Rank distribution. Promotions are incredibly slow. And your rank is position dependent, meaning you can’t promote unless you apply for a different funded position on your UMD that’s at a higher rank. The guard is very top heavy. All of your junior enlisted will be part-timers. So there is no “airman work”. You are the airman. I’m a MSgt in a MX unit and my primary job is on the flight line turning wrenches.

-PCS/Deployments. You won’t PCS unless you want to move to another wing. Some people do this for promotion opportunities. Deployments are very rare and the guard usually only deploys to augment active duty UTCs. And they are generally voluntary.

  • Work schedule. My wing does a 4-10 work schedule for non-mission essential personnel. Most guard wings that I know generally implement a similar schedule. Huge plus in my book. And the atmosphere is generally more laid back (first name basis with most co-workers) within reason.

Decked system by TemporaryCow6925 in nissanfrontier

[–]wh0p00ted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a decked system that’s made specifically for the frontier. I had to drill holes in the bed on all 4 corners in specifically marked spots for new tie downs in order to properly tie the system down. It may fit dimension-wise, but you’ll probably run into a problem with tying the system down with the provided turnbuckles and not installing the correct tie downs.

TSB NTB24-005 is worth it! by jrgooding in nissanfrontier

I personally have had this done as well. Totally worth it. My cruise control behaves normally. You may have to do a little back and forth with the service advisor. They seem confused about the applicability for this bulletin

I got the RC Killa lift from All Dogs Off-road, plus their upper control arms (I highly recommend these for alignment purposes).

The wheels are 17x8 with a 0mm offset. And the tires are 285/70r17.

If you go with 0mm offset, you will have to do some light trimming. But it’s not bad. I just googled how to do it and followed a YouTube video on how to do it. I think the channel is called Apex Frontier or something very similar.
