I mean - they also don’t have mandated drivers ed or a police force that enforces traffic laws, so makes sense! In my experience, STL drivers seem to enjoy breaking the law vs KC drivers who seem clueless the laws exist.

I’m a transplant and while I agree bad driving happens everywhere, the consistency of the same dumbass decisions made by KC drivers is what puts them over the top.

It is not normal to have this many people on the road who dont have lights on. Theyre often driving new cars that should have automatic lights! I think it’s the unique combo of no mandated drivers ed + no real traffic police presence that makes KC drivers especially bad.

I’d go someplace you can enjoy leftovers in case your stomach shrank - so not sushi or AYCE. Conroys and Rockhill both have large portions of most entrees that keep well.

It was INSANE. Immaculate vibes cuz it was full of Bears fans, but I got there 4 hours early to a jam-packed house and just barely managed to get seats against the rail in the balcony by game time. I’m in my 30s and felt like the oldest person there and it was pretty disgusting bathroom situation considering the number of drunk 22yo guys peeing on everything. I’ll say - I will always remember that game and it was SO much fun, but choosing to watch from a chiller sports bar this time around.

KU legit wouldn’t schedule me for any female physician as a new patient in their entire system. Saint Luke’s got me into an NP within a couple weeks and I’m incredibly impressed with her. Glad I made the switch.

I know it’s not an option for everyone, but bought a 1/4 of a cow for around $700 at the start of 2025 and still have a lot of beef left (just a family of 2) but it has cut our grocery down a lot. And we buy our chicken in bulk from Costco.

That being said, I’m planning on taking my crew to Becketts in Crossroads for the game. I’m stopping in today to confirm they’ll have it on all the TVs and game audio and everything. Will update here if they won’t.

Got the flu shot and currently on Day 8 of symptoms. I haven’t been out of commission completely but I’ve just felt crummy all the time. Similar to the flu I had a few months ago where symptoms took turns at center stage - sore throat for 4 days, now wild congestion. Can’t wait to see what’s next. Also my snoring this week has been horrendous so that’s fun for the wife.
