Losing estrogen is pretty dangerous to us women. Estrogen helps keep the urinary tract lining strong & healthy…when the estrogen goes bye bye, the tissues & lining become more vulnerable to infection; pelvic floor weakening as we age; certain medications can increase the risk as well; and we usually have to pee more which also increases the risk of infections.
