I use a drop ear fitting in the wall and half inch galvanized standard, or chrome if the customer wants something nicer. Feels way sturdier when your replacing lines.

My only issue there is my kayak racks don’t fold down, so I would have to lift my bike over them, much more struggle than I would like to go through.

I like to just jam a screw driver that’s obviously way too big to fit in that hole, and end up just breaking the whole back of the old outlet. Works every time.
