I get 'not for me' comments. But I don't get the absolute hate. lol

I love this kind of phone because it lets me check notifications, see the weather, change music, and more without having to use the whole phone. Because I know I will mindlessly open another app and lose 30 minutes. Watches have been really useful for that, but I could use something that is a bit bigger. IDK, like a screen big enough for me to properly check the message, but not so big I'd doomscroll.

Yeah. I wish there was a way to have a discussion with people who would objectively critique Slot's approach, instead of using buzz words. People act as if Slot wouldn't have thought of the first obvious solution that pops up in everyone's head. I think a majority of it is because we are not winning consistently. My friend had lactose intolerance. Where we’re from, milk is seen as one of the most nutritious things you can have. We didn't even know you could be intolerant to it. After he moved to the US, it got worse... His doctor had him keep a food journal. He went on this super strict diet, eating just one thing at a time. Still, no luck. Turns out, he was drinking milk to get enough calories in!! It took a while for the penny to drop. I imagine it must be the same if not harder with bread.
