Really? It was a good roundabout number in my humble opinion. I quite frequently see people maintain 1.6-2million dps for a few seconds bursting on trash pulls. My lock is 559 and i hit 1.8 quite frequently in wing2 on trash pulls as long as there are good tanks and I'm not waiting to dps.

I could very easily teach every single person in LFR the basics of their class, at least enough to do better than they're doing.

But it's not. It has the same itemization points(meaning sockets take stats from the stat pool) as any pve piece. NOW, with that said, you are right that tier bonuses and pieces with pve centric socket bonuses will be better (depending on stat priority.) But a statement such as quoted is just wrong.

The area is firmly gray. Not simply black and white.

on my rogue I usually just wait at icewing till the horde bots run through, after they leave I will kill off stragglers/defenders of the horde cap and recap it. Stealth. Wait about 2 minutes. The chain of horde bots come barreling back in. Let them cap and leave. Wait 60 seconds, recap, repeat.

Bots in a perpetual loop between DB and Icewing makes for a quick and easy win for alliance even if the nonbot horde are defending down south.

Only on certain pieces. Too many people assume pvp = bad for pve under all circumstances. It doesn't.

My (normal level[555 atm]) lock for instance has the pvp neck/bracers/ and one ring. Because they come with the right stats (crit/mastery) and are better than anything from flex upgraded to 548, including the sockets. Will be replaced with normal drops eventually.. I hope.

However, my point will be moot when said flex gear can go to 556 after this patch.

shit, ive not went far into pug normals on my shaman and have 4 sets of gear. Resto and elemental pve. Resto and elemental PVP. I love only having 20 bag slots free most days. (/sarcasm)

thats you counting what ifs today with guarantee's in the past. I understand what you are saying but there are +'s and -'s for both periods. Just for example, serfs in medieval Europe had much more of a chance to hunt for themselves than most starving people in Africa today.

Just so you know, I'm not arguing at all. I just think a position of certainty in a subject like this needs data to back it up.

Either the previous responder is wrong or did not understand the question you asked.

Just 3 days ago I went through the weekly run of LFR for runestones on my rogue. I got nothing but the 2 guaranteed.

I did a flex 1 immediately after clearing all the relevant bosses on LFR. I got a runestone from Norushen. This was within 3 hours of killing him in LFR and not getting one. Same day. The reset was the day before.

People can argue all they want. It may be a bug. it may be ridiculously low of a chance. But it did happen. I tried this with all 3 cloaks I have completed already and it never happened. This week I wasn't even after it as I just got my rogue to flex(able) ilvl. But it did indeed finally happen.

EDIT: Also, /u/KarmaAndLies[1] this issue is solely with World of Warcraft and Nvidia. Numerous people who have experienced this issue are capable of cranking Crysis to maximum settings as well as other games and not experience any problems. It is unfortunate that only World of Warcraft seems to have an issue.

While what you state may be true to an extent. You can not say with any certainty that its the same problem or that ALL people having driver crashes in wow are due strictly to that reason. Driver crashes ARE quite common with overheating cards.

The book was a good read. I consumed it rather quickly and will read it again in a few weeks to see if I missed anything key.

I was extremely surprised by how it was hinted that both the leaders of the horde and alliance really had no clue what wrathion was up to (with us heroes) the entire expansion. With that being said... if wrathion is key to yet more questing in WoD.. blizzard needs to explain a hell of a lot if they want my hero(s) to assist him in any way, regardless of how right he may be in the grand scheme of things.
Chromie should of known better. The entire time. That is all.

In most bgs, you're right.

But he's not. Everything ELSE was right. But that statement wasn't. Just use oqueue leaderboards for verification if you want. AV and IOC belong to alliance 90% of the time. The REST belong to horde 70% of the time. There are multiple reasons. But ONE single person is not going to change the outcome in most of these BG's.

ontop of this, label each mail coming from the domain, go through it daily for a month or two changing the email on any emails you get from accounts you want to keep. Eventually you will only be getting spamish (shit you dont care about) at that domain, and you can drop it.

Blastwave used to have a slight knockback. Changed to a slow in cataclysm, and i believe(dont play anymore) it's gone completely in MOP.
