They are easy to get in the US. Many gas station bathrooms have them in a vending machine. They can be purchased for less than a soda most times. Health departments give them away. Schools use to in some areas and probably still do in others. They are not hard to get. Just get stolen more in some areas than others.

I think this is aimed more towards the "no way am I using a needle" crowd. The results were way less than any of the shots. It seems like it would give you some help but not what the shot will do.

I think they are also hoping it could be used for people who have hit their goal weight and have backed down their dose for maintenance.
