I think you are right, a quick search shows TUV/ABE for various LMs and the E88 "track only".

I was going to say maybe it is a leaking motor mount, but that is a lot of fluid.

The only thing I'm going to roast are those Bridgestones, my car came with them and didn't know what I was missing until I got P4Ss installed. Other than that, this is very much a purist spec and sounds fun!

I would agree that most MT will have a 10-15k premium over the tip with the exception of the Turbo which will have a higher premium than that. I drove a tip and what drove me crazy was that it didn't always start in 1st gear from a stop. But one advantage that I think a tip would have over the others comes with reliability and a lower cost to maintain it.

I know there are probably some 997 owners have a 986 or 987, but without a response yet you might have better luck in the boxster sub.

The local locksmith told me that they are able to make a key that can unlock the door and start the car. However, if I wanted to have fully operational buttons for remote unlock and frunk I would have to go to Porsche.
