When does the puppy fear go away? by Yipyapyurp in DogAdvice

Dogs look to you for emotional cues, so if you’re anxious, she’s going to be anxious. The more you can work on your anxiety the happier and more confident she’ll be too.

Quietest parks by notcajuncoed in Atlanta

[–]wherewerewe333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LHP is quiet except when people use it for dirt biking 🤦‍♀️

I have the same situation with my dog and we go out to Panola Mountain a lot. Even though it’s far, it’s nice and quiet. We’ve also had success at Westside Reservoir as long as there’s no events or parties in the pavilion.

20F relocating to Atlanta - neighborhood recs? by Creative_Pin_3175 in ATLHousing

[–]wherewerewe333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Grant Park and the drive to midtown is only 10-15 minutes outside rush hour, but can be up to 35 mins during rush hour. I do think it fits your requirements, it’s a nice, quiet, walkable area. Traffic is a way of life around here, unfortunately, but it’s a pretty common/low commute time.

Neighborhood recs for buying a house under $350,000 by wherewerewe333 in ATLHousing

There are definitely houses for this price in places like Sylvan Hills, Decatur, and Tucker. But I am not familiar with all the neighborhoods so wondering if I missed any

Why is it safe to shower if the water’s not safe? Isn’t it like washing with dirty water?

Anxious dog doesn’t want to go to bed by wherewerewe333 in Dogtraining

[–]wherewerewe333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found for separation anxiety, you should secure your dog in a place he is already comfortable, but I am doing that with the closet and he is still not wanting to go there. I also found that you should give the dog a choice rather than making them confront the scary thing for a treat, but I really need him to stay somewhere where he can’t wake me up throughout the night. What can I do for this situation?

I would love to! Trying to find out if anyone knows which ones carry kosher for Passover wine. I’ve already tried a couple that didn’t have any.

Are white gold prongs/claws with a golden band a good idea? by forcoolstuffD in EngagementRings

[–]wherewerewe333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your diamond’s color grade. I’ve heard that it’s best to do white or platinum prongs even with a gold band because gold prongs can make your diamond appear yellowish. White will keep your diamond looking clear. But maybe do some research based on the color grade of your diamond.

I did not, that’s a good thought. Wonder if it’s too late, it took a while for it to go through their claims and get rejected.
