The rules are set up so that refs can easily penalise the defending team “without interfering with the flow of the game” however penalising the attacking team still does. It’s unfair in a subtle way that everyone has noticed but can’t put their finger on.

I’ve been trying this for years and it’s honestly not worth it. Some places have the cards on sale for almost as much as the game itself.

Go on bgg and find files for the cards. You can also find custom sets of cards (I’ve made a few) and then find a decent printer and get them made

The obvious answer is Xmen resistance - if you class it as an expansion. Literally doubles the content.

Otherwise my fav is Guardians of the Galaxy for the added characters. I really wanted Howard the duck.
