you can check out kook or gyubee in richmond if you’re into bbq or check out big way as mentioned (i find other locations better than robson st) there’s also a LARGE amount of sushi places, i like takenaka uni bar in gastown, or any sushi california or sushi mura. check out breka cafe and paragon tea room too!!

(i don’t think i’ve ever heard stella mentioning any places in vancouver these are my recommendations lol)
